With so many high-profile releases this month, the likes of God of War Ragnarok and Pokemon Scarlet/Violet to name just a couple, it can be easy to miss some bonafide gems in the November release schedule. One that we definitely would recommend keeping a sharp eye on though is Evil West.
Coming from Focus Entertainment and Flying Wild Hog, the studio behind Shadow Warrior 3 and Trek to Yomi, Evil West casts players as Jesse Rentier, a vampire hunter in a depiction of (you guessed it) the Wild West. It’s a third-person shooter with a focus on combining a variety of weapons with devastating melee combos and environmental hazards, resulting in balls-to-the-wall action that can be played through with a friend in co-op.
We recently went hands-on with Evil West at Gamescom 2022 and came away thoroughly impressed.
