Monster Hunter Rise Is Coming To More Platforms In January Including Xbox Game Pass

Great news for Monster Hunter fans on PlayStation and Xbox!

Update: Capcom has now officially announced that Monster Hunter Rise is coming to PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One on January 20, 2023.

The game will cost $59.95 digitally for the standard edition or $75.95 for the digital Deluxe Edition, and will be on Xbox Game Pass at launch.

Monster Hunter Rise features customizable optimizations, allowing hunters to enjoy their journey in 4K resolution and 60 frames per second on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5, while also offering 3D audio for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. Ranged and shielded weapons will also make use of DualSense adaptive triggers on PlayStation 5. Monster Hunter Rise launches on Jan. 20, 2023 and is available now for pre-purchase. The game also arrives on Xbox Game Pass at launch.

Original Story: Tom Henderson’s Insider Gaming has reported that Monster Hunter Rise, Capcom’s wildly-successful Switch and PC-exclusive recent Monster Hunter title, will be coming to current-gen and last-gen PlayStation and Xbox platforms sooner rather than later.

According to IG (and the one and only “insider_wtf”), the game will launch on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One on January 20, 2023 including as a day one release on Xbox Game Pass. The well-received expansion, Sunbreak, will reportedly be coming to the same platformers later in 2023.

On modern consoles, Monster Hunter Rise will reportedly be a 4K60 port with 3D audio support.

If Capcom is indeed gearing up to announce this release we can pretty strongly guess that this is an announcement for The Game Awards next week.
