Whilst we’ve had a bunch of looks at AFL 23 trailers, our first look at proper gameplay is arriving courtesy of a couple of AFL streamers that got to play the game at Big Ant Studios this week.
The best look at gameplay comes from Twistie3. Within the video, you can see a bunch of unedited gameplay that shows off everything from free-flowing footy to set shots as well as some early opinions on the game.
AFL 23 releases on May 4th, for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC. It’s recently believed that a Legends mode and Ultimate Team mode will launch alongside the game.
We also got to see the game prior to it being delayed, but our hands-on time was swift and from an earlier version of the game. We’ll hopefully have some more final thoughts after we get hands-on next week:
