EA Sports FC 24’s Release Date Looks To Have Leaked

The game formerly known as FIFA

Regular and typically reliable leaker, @billbil-kun, has struck yet again, seemingly revealing the release date for EA Sports FC – the giant publisher’s newly-branded football game following its loss of the FIFA license – ahead of an official reveal.

According to billbil-kun’s post on Dealabs, the game is set to launch on September 29th this year. Like its predecessors, both a Standard Edition and an Ultimate Edition will reportedly be made available, with the Ultimate Edition granting a whopping seven days early access starting September 22nd which is a huge bump up from the three days in prior releases. Also like the FIFAs of old, it’s claimed that the game will have a 10-hour trial period for EA Play members that’ll be available from that same date.

Along with the supposed leaked release dates, another regular dataminer and leaker, @Alumia_Italia has revealed via the Xbox Store backen a Closed Beta for EA Sports FC 24 set to arrive soon, including the Xbox console file sizes. The beta will run Xbox users 41.57GB on Xbox Series X|S and 39.23GB on Xbox One – also affirming that this game will still release on the previous generation of consoles.

The validity of these leaks should be all but confirmed soon enough, with EA having promised that more info would be coming this month.

“This is where the story of EA SPORTS FC begins. We’re building on 30 years of leadership and history creating experiences that bring the global football community together, and continuing to take it into a fan-first future,” said Nick Wlodyka, SVP & GM of EA SPORTS FC when the new generation of EA’s football franchise had its big logo reveal back in April. “EA SPORTS FC will be a symbol for the sport, a symbol of innovation and change, and we’re energized to show our fans more about the future in July.”
