It Looks Like A Bluey Video Game Is On The Way

Bingo!

If a recently-posted listing on the Australian Classification Board is any indication (and you can assume it would), it seems as though everyone’s favourite animated Blue Heeler pup, Bluey, is going to be the star of her very own video game.

Aptly titled Bluey: The Videogame, it looks to be headed to consoles and PC in the future, with development by Artax Games and publishing through Outright Games, the folks who’ve bankrolled some other recognisable family-friend licensed titles like Peppa Pig: World Adventures, Bratz: Flaunt Your Fashion and Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion.

The listing was picked up by the AusVGClassifications bot and discovered by our friends over at Vooks, but as far as other information goes including a release date or any kind of official acknowledgment it seems we’ll have to wait for more fur light to be shed.

Since 2018, Bluey has quickly become a worldwide sensation and a massive success for the ABC and its Aussie creators. The series starts Bluey Heeler, her sister Bingo and parents Bandit and Chilli as they learn about the world through Bluey’s unbridled imagination and limitless energy.

The series has won numerous awards including two Logie Awards and an International Emmy Kids Award, and is currently three seasons in with over 150 episodes produced and aired. Disney picked up the international broadcasting rights in 2019. The BBC holds merchandising rights for Bluey, and is headquartered in London along with Outright Games, the publisher reportedly on board for this video game adaptation.
