PlayStation and Santa Monica Studio have been celebrating the one-year anniversary of the launch of the excellent God of War Ragnarok, not only highlighting some impressive stats over at the PlayStation Blog (players spent a combined total of 1.5 million minutes comforting Speki and Svanna, which is great) and dropping a very cool collection of lo-fi beats featuring musical motifs from the series, but also releasing a second Midgard Mishaps video.
For anyone that missed the first Midgard Mishaps based on God of War (2018), it’s essentially the God of War blooper real, and it’s bloody great.

Feel more with PS5. Beyond the everyday. Beyond extraordinary. Even beyond imagination. Feel it now.
From some excruciatingly-contorted faces and bodies, to misbehaving pups, etc, etc and even a dance break, there’s no shortage of hijinks in the below video. It’s both a neat glimpse into the early, much more rough, stages of the 2022 blockbuster game as well as a good bit of a chuckle for your Tuesday.

We gave God of War Ragnarok a 9.5/10 in our original review, saying “God of War Ragnarok is a triumph. Santa Monica Studio has successfully taken everything that was great about the last game and amplified it while correcting just about every problem area and then some. There are slight stumbles, but it’s a constantly surprising, epic adventure that shows genuine growth in its characters, backed up by best-in-class combat and a menagerie of breathtaking scenes. This makes Ragnarök an easy GOTY contender and one of the best games I’ve played in years.”
