It’s been long rumoured, but we now have more concrete information about a new Astro Bot game that is set to be announced imminently.
This comes from Dealabs’ Billbil-Kun, who has been leaking PlayStation stories such as PlayStation Plus games for the last few years now.
According to the leak, the game is going to be called Astro Bot, and will be released exclusively for PS5 (not PlayStation VR2). Further to this, it’s said that part of the game will take place in a desert area with a new character described as a “fennec fox in the form of a robot”.
Previously, It was said that Asobi’s next game would be “its most ambitious yet” according to a job posting, so it’s exciting to see what a fully fledged Astro Bot game could look like.

Astro Bot Rescue Mission was one of the most successful PlayStation VR games, and it was followed up by pay Astro’s Playroom which released alongside the PS5 and came pre-installed was also fantastic
