In an absolute announcement fest of PlayStation adaptations including Helldivers 2, Horizon: Zero Dawn and Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, Neil Druckmann took to the stage at Sony’s CES press conference to reveal HBO’s season two of The Last Of Us will air in April.
No hard date was revealed (annoyingly) and it’s maybe a little later to wait than I’d have liked.
Neil Druckman and fellow showrunner Craig Mazin have previously hinted The Last of Us Part II would be split across multiple seasons, so it will be interesting to see how they approach it, given the changes made to the story in Season 1.
Can’t wait!
