Game Science has announced the next game in the Black Myth franchise. It’s called Black Myth: Zhong Kui and it’s the follow-up to Black Myth: Wukong.
The game will be coming to mainstream console platforms and PC although specific platforms will be confirmed at a later date.
Black Myth: Zhong Kui shares the same foundation of ancient Chinese myth and folklore and will be a single-player action RPG but you won’t be playing as a monkey this time around.
The company also confirmed that the journey isn’t over for Black Myth: Wukong, although it didn’t elaborate on what this meant in terms of whether it’d be DLC or a sequel for the extremely popular game.
In terms of when we can expect to see Black Myth: Zhong Kui, I think it’ll be a while off given it sounds like it’s still in pre-production phase.
