While fans will have to wait until February to get their mitts on the full version of Halo Wars 2, coming to both Xbox One and Windows 10, that’s not all they stand to gain.
Xbox Wire has noted in their press release for the game’s beta (which is available to download right now) that the Ultimate Edition of Halo Wars 2 will include the Definitive Edition of the original entry to the series, Halo Wars. The Xbox Store listing claims that the Definitive Edition will be an enhanced version of the original game for Xbox One and Windows 10 and will include all of the downloadable content released for the original game.
The Halo Wars 2: Ultimate Edition in question includes the base game, the season pass as well as full access to the game four days ahead of its expected launch on February 21, 2017.
Xbox Wire also notes that information regarding pre-orders is coming tomorrow.
