Announced today during Microsoft’s Inside Xbox stream is a new action RPG from Bandai Namco called Scarlet Nexus, the game is developed by Bandai Namco Studios and is headed up by former developers who worked on the Tales series, including Tales of Vesperia.
Scarlet Nexus places you in the shoes of Yuito Sumeragi, a gifted user of psychokenesis set on uncovering the mysteries of the Brain Punk future during his time in New Himuka with the world, torn between technology and psychic abilities, acting as an ally for a lot of the experience. The art direction is really distinct and refreshing with a lot of colour and flair, though the monsters of the city exist as a foil to this.
The game is another in the list to make the most of Smart Delivery.
“The next generation of video game home consoles lets the development team realize the full potential of Scarlet Nexus,” said Bandai Namco producer Keita Iizuka. “Players can expect visuals and psychic battles with high resolution and frame rate along with fully interactive real-time battles with dynamic animation. Utilizing Smart Delivery on Xbox Series X also means players can enjoy the best version of Scarlet Nexus regardless of whether they are playing on the next generation with Xbox Series X or Xbox One.”
Like all the other games in the latest Inside Xbox stream, the game will be optimised for Xbox Series X.
