November 10th will mark the start of a new generation and whilst new hardware is exciting, it’s all about the games. The Xbox Series X launch line titles are a bit harder to follow than usual.
We’ve done our best to round up the games based on those that we know will have Xbox Series X specific releases, those that we know are getting Xbox Series X optimised versions that are assumed to be coming at launch, Xbox One games that will be optimised to run on Xbox Series X and those that we know are coming near after launch or at some point during the launch window.
It’s also worth mentioning that all Xbox One games will play on the Xbox Series X on day one, so Cyberpunk 2077 for instance, which is getting released a month after the Xbox Series X will run on the console (and presumably run better, with faster load times), but because it’s not specifically getting an Xbox Series X version/update until 2021, it doesn’t feature on the list.
CONFIRMED XBOX SERIES X LAUNCH GAMES
The majority of these games are all launching on the same day as the Xbox Series X and won’t be available elsewhere before November 10th. As far as we know, all of these games will also be available on Xbox One.

FIRST-PARTY XBOX ONE GAMES THAT WILL BE XBOX SERIES X ENHANCED AT LAUNCH
There’s a lot of Xbox One games that will receive upgrades for Xbox Series X and these are the ones that Microsoft has specifically mentioned as being there in November when the consoles launches.
