As many expected, Control Resonant made an appearance at PlayStation’s State of Play this morning, and the trailer was an immaculate tone-setter for the upcoming sequel.
Unlike the original, which followed FBC’s Jesse Faden, Resonant follows her brother, Dylan Faden, who was a focal point of the original game’s plot.
Control Resonant appears to have more of an open, action RPG structure, with a much bigger emphasis on melee combat.
The game is set to launch on September 24, 2026.
