Five Star Games Australia has revealed a very special custom Xbox Series X console, created by well-known Aussie modsmiths TAG Mods, celebrating the release of Company of Heroes 3: Console Edition on May 30th.
More than just a reskin of the console though, this custom job is an enormous, $10,000 diorama depicting US troops defending a cathedral under fire from the Germany army’s troops and Wehrmacht tanks – and peeking out of a destroyed portion of the cathedral roof is the Xbox Series X console itself.
It’s an impressive bit of promotion for the game, but the best part is one lucky Aussie will be taking it home as part of a competition being run on Five Star’s social media. Starting tomorrow, eager punters will be able to enter via the Five Star Games Twitter and Facebook accounts for a shot at winning this incredible diorama. Good luck fitting this one on your TV cabinet.
The competition will be open to Australian residents aged 15 and over, starting on Company of Heroes 3 Console Edition’s launch day, Tuesday 30th May, and closing at midnight on Tuesday 13th June (AEST). To win, entrants will be asked to get their thinking caps on and suggest the most creative way to implement the game’s “Tactical Pause” feature in real life – so consider this your head start to get those brain juices flowing.
