Xbox’s Australia/New Zealand arm has unveiled a gorgeous, custom Xbox Series S console created in celebration of NAIDOC (National Aboriginals and Islanders Day Observance Committee) Week, which it will be auctioning off in support of a great cause.
The custom console’s fantastic design was created and hand painted by the always-brilliant First Nations artist @lifeofrubii, who’s had her works featured in Xbox collaborations in the past, and even has her art adorning a whole bloody tram as part of RISING Melbourne, and inspired by this year’s NAIDOC Week theme of “For Our Elders.”
The custom Xbox Series S console will be auctioned through Rubii’s page, and donations will be going to ID Know Yourself, a not-for-profit organisation that offers mentoring and support for Aboriginal children in out-of-home care. You’ll be able to go and see the console in person at the Microsoft Experience Centre in Westfield Sydney all throughout NAIDOC Week.
