Xbox has revealed that starting October 31st it’s giving everyone a slightly better deal on the Xbox Series S console with a new Starter Bundle, which looks to be replacing the current Xbox Series S package and is essentially the same aside from the inclusion of three months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, worth around $57.
The bundle is due to launch on October 31st and will be the same $499 price as the standard Xbox Series S package. If the added benefit of three months of The Best Value in Gaming™ is just what you need to be convinced to pick up an Xbox Series S you can already pre-order the new Starter Bundle at select retailers like JB Hi-Fi and the Microsoft Store.
Of course, anyone looking to pick up the strictly-digital Xbox Series S should probably be looking at the 1TB Carbon Black variant, which is not only sexier but sports double the storage at 1TB and only costs $50 more. There’s no sign of a similar Game Pass bundle for this version but you’re going to need somewhere to store all of those Game Pass games, right?
