It’s not something I personally thought we’d see happen but it’s been confirmed that Helldivers 2 is coming to the Xbox Series X|S on August 26th. It will be published by PlayStation Studios and available digitally.
Speaking to Xbox Wire, Game Director Mikael Erikkson said: “We know gamers have been asking for this for some time and we are so excited to bring more Helldivers into our game. We have so much more in store for the future months and years – and the more players we have the more stories we can tell! The fight for Super Earth has only just begun.”
Pre-orders for both the standard edition and Super Citizen Edition are available now and it will support ross play on all platforms. It’ll set you back $64.95 for the standard edition and $94.95 for the Super Citizen Edition.
Interestingly enough, the game is releasing on the same day as Gears of War: Reloaded, which does seem like a deliberate choice.
