Nintendo took to its Nintendo Direct to announce Nintendo Switch Virtual Game Cards which is essentially an overhaul to its account system.
You can purchase a digital game and load it onto your Nintendo Switch 1/2 as a digital game card. You’re then able to load this onto a second system as well, and you’re also able to lend games to Nintendo Switch family group members via local wireless for up to 14 days.
You only need an internet connection when loading or ejecting a game from one console to another, and then you’ll be able to play from anywhere.
