Sorcerer’s Apprentice Mickey finally has a solid release date for Disney Infinity. Starting next Thursday, February 13th, Sorcerer’s Apprentice Mickey will be available across Australia for a SRP of $17.95. Mickey was only previously available in an EXTREMELY small batch in December. It was so tiny that not even all preorders could be filled.
This is the first time in more than 30 years, that gamers will have the chance to play as Sorcerer’s Apprentice Mickey in a Disney game. Avalanche Software felt that this beloved version of Mickey was perfect suited for Disney Infinity due to his mischievous nature and magical powers. With his magical broom sweeps and blazing energy bursts, Sorcerer’s Mickey and his “Magical Escape” Toy Box adventure will hit the spot with Disney fans universally!
This is the moment that I dreamed of when Disney Infinity was announced. Having Mickey being able to hop into a car and race Buzz Lightyear in Cinderella’s Coach or Sulley in Mickey’s Jalopy. It really shows that there is an infinity of possibilities.
