Australian Twitch Charity Marathon ‘GenerOZity’ Is Back This Weekend

GenerOZity #2 takes place this weekened. The event is a 48-hour guerrilla pop-up Twitch charity marathon that brings together streamers, YouTubers, podcasters and more from around Australia’s gaming scene.

The proceeds of the event will be spent helping bring games and entertainment to Paediatric wards across Australia through the help of Child’s Play.

In 2016, the first GenerOZity raised $6,500 and garnered over 58,000 views. 2017 is even bigger for the event bringing in large sponsors such as Mwave.

The show will be streamed live on GenerOZity’s Twitch channel, as well as simulcast upon the website, commencing at 5:30PM AEDT on January the 20th (Running through to 6:00PM AEDT on Sunday the 22nd of January.)

During the event, GenerOZity will be holding host to a massive cast of leading Australian content creators: Press Start’s own Lewis Vaughan will be streaming as well as streamers and YouTubers such as Loserfruit and James Turner, community groups including The Peanut Gallery and OzHadou, and industry figures such as Guy ‘Yug’ Blomberg.
