Hyperkin have revealed an attachment for your smartphone that will closely mimic a Game Boy. First shown at E3, the Smartboy will retail for $59.99 USD and can be preordered via their website. IT will play both Game Boy and Game Boy Colour titles using open-source software. Bad news for iPhone users, as it’ll only work with Android phones running Google’s OS.
A release date has yet to be set but the company did note that it would be monitoring social media for feedback on the device as obviously comfort and usability are paramount to the success.
