It’s only a matter of time.
Not long ago, The Gamesmen sent out revealing that AFL Evolution 2 would start shipping to customers starting this Thursday (more than two weeks ahead of release). In that same email, The Gamesmen say that Final Fantasy 7 Remake is “COMING REAL SOON”.
Considering both other games in the email Resident Evil 3 and AFL Evolution 2 have their release dates clearly labeled along with the graphic (with the AFL Evolution 2 release date being the newly revealed two week early release date), it’s pretty clear that something is going on with the game’s release date. The official Final Fantasy 7 Remake release date is April 10th. It’s becoming increasingly unlikely that this date will be stuck too.
Last night, Square Enix revealed that they’d sent the game out early to Australia and Europe. We had confirmation of this a week or so ago, with stock arriving into Australian stores yesterday. We’ll keep you posted as soon as we know more.
