Square Enix confirmed at Square Enix Presents this morning that Project Athia is now called Forspoken. The game was originally announced at the PS5 reveal event.
The game is a narrative driven adventure that is releasing in 2022 for PS5 and PC and it puts players in the shoes of Frey Holland, a young woman who must use her magical abilities in a land called Athia.
Today’s trailer brought a little bit more gameplay, which definitely looks to be one of the more impressive games visually that we’ve seen for PS5 so far.
It was also revealed that the lead character Frey, will be played by Ella Balinska who starred in 2019’s Charlie’s Angels.
