God of War Ragnarök: Valhalla is a brand-new DLC for the game that serves as an epilogue to the base game, taking Kratos on a “deeply personal and reflective” journey. In it, Kratos travels to Valhalla to overcome a series of trials while facing echoes of his past.
As a realm, Valhalla will consist of a fresh take on the game’s signature combat with experimental ideas inspired by the roguelite genre. With each new attempt you make to conquer its trials, new combinations of enemies and events will appear, and with each death Kratos will earn resources with which to grow stronger for subsequent runs along with both run-based and permanent rewards.
Importantly, the DLC is free to all owners of the base game on PS5 or PS4.
