Magic: The Gathering has revealed its next exciting Secret Lair crossover, and this time it’s something pretty special for those among us (ie, me) who spent a good amount of their teens both playing MtG and quoting iconic lines from movies like The Life of Brian and the Holy Grail. Yep – we’re getting a Monty Python drop.
This iconic new collab comes as part of the Brain Dead-led Inside an Elevator Superdrop series and will be available across two separate volumes and nine total cards, with both volumes available to purchase starting this coming Tuesday, July 30th at 2AM AEDT and through August 19th at 5AM (or, more realistically, while stocks last). Like other Secret Lair drops, the cards included are new plays on existing cards, themed on iconic moments, characters and locations from Monty Python and the Holy Grail, including Tim the Enchanter, the Black Beast of Aaargh and the always-appropriate “‘Tis but a scratch!”
