Captain Toad's Bargain Tracker

Update: Nintendo has launched the next round of digital discounts on the Switch eShop today, continuing with deep discounts on its key first-party titles – making for a rare opportunity to snag some of the Switch’s best games at a bargain price (at least in their digital forms).

This time around, the games are even more popular than before with the inclusion of the likes of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Super Mario Odyssey. This wave of deals is set to end on May 4th.

We recently published our full review of The Super Mario Bros. Movie, saying “The Super Mario Bros. Movie is exactly what you’d expect, sometimes for worse but overwhelmingly for the better. It’s a no-frills, digestible adventure that’s absolutely jam-packed with nods to the immense history of Nintendo’s favourite plumber, and crucially it features all the charm and fun that’s fundamental to delivering that nostalgia in a meaningful way. There’s at least a little something for everyone, young or old, gamer or not, but go in ready to celebrate 40+ years of Mario and Nintendo history and you’ll have a blast.”
