Team Fnatic has announced its new roster for the coming Dota 2 Fall Major Season, bringing together players from two of the top teams in the South-East Asia region.
Three players who played for Filipino team TNC Gaming during The International 2016 have joined Fnatic, replacing team members who were dropped at the end of last month. Raven, eeyou and DeMoN are all set to join up, playing the carry and two support roles respectively.
The newly announced players will join veterans Mushi and Ohaiyo, who have played together on various teams in the region since 2013.
During the $21 million International 2016 tournament, Fnatic proved its worth as one of the strongest teams in the SEA region, coming in fourth at the main event. Meanwhile TNC surprised viewers by defeating previous major champion OG in an upset series of games.
The news comes as part of Dota 2’s roster reshuffle period, which takes place before the start of each Major season. Teams will have until September 18 to announce their roster, after which they are locked in for a period of three months.
