Though it has been in the news a lot thanks to leaks, Assassin’s Creed: Origins has seen its worldwide reveal at Microsoft’s E3 conference.
Jean Guesdon, creative director at Ubisoft, took to stage to introduce us to Bayek, an Egyptian sheriff of sorts, who’s locked in a battle against a darkness. He then showed off Origins’ systemic world in an alpha gameplay premiere which shows Bayek tracking and killing one of the game’s bads Medunamun.
In the video, Bayek uses a Watch_Dogs’ drone-esque Eagle which allows him to find his target from the air. He then infiltrates a compound and shows off a more in-depth graded loot and levelling systems.
Safe to say, it looks incredible running natively in 4K.
Assassin’s Creed: Origins is rumoured to be released October 27, in accordance with the aforementioned leaks.
