Ghost Recon: Breakpoint Introduces Us To The Game’s Villain Played By Jon Bernthal

In a short CGI trailer for Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, Jon Bernthal captures attention and does not let go as he delivers a compelling monologue that gives us an idea what his character is going to be driven by.

Cole D. Walker is his character’s name and he’s the big bad of Breakpoint. His manifesto is ominous and it doesn’t sound like it’s going to be an easy fight for our hero characters. We’ve seen Bernthal in villainous roles before with his turn in The Walking Dead but he’s most recently gained traction for his role as The Punisher in Marvel’s Netflix series. He’s an underrated talent and to have him onboard for Breakpoint is a great coup.

We were also treated to a gameplay trailer for Breakpoint along with a couple of news items. The first being if you’re a solo player, your squad will be A.I. controlled which will be music to the ears of lone wolves. And the second piece being that the game would have a playable beta on September 5.

Ghost Recon: Breakpoint releases on October 4, 2019.
