When And Where To Watch The Fallout Series In Australia This Week

It's going to be a blast!

There’s not much longer to wait now for Prime Video’s ambitious new Fallout series, based on the iconic video game franchise of the same name, developed by Westworld’s Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan and created with the blessing and co-operation of current custodians, Bethesda.

With the show’s premiere impending, we though we’d put together a quick primer on all of the basics – when it’s coming, where you can watch it and what to expect from the show itself. Take a look:

When Is The Fallout Series Coming Out?

The Fallout series is now coming out a day earlier than its original April 12th release date, instead dropping on Thursday, April 11th at 11AM AEST. All episodes of the show will arrive at the same time.

Where Can I Watch It?

Fallout will be available to stream exclusively on Prime Video. You’ll need an Amazon Prime subscription to watch, but with all episodes dropping at once it’s a great time to sign up to a free trial here if you’re not already a member.

Who’s In The Fallout Series?

Fallout’s top-billed cast includes Ella Purnell as lead character, Lucy, Aaron Moten as Maximus, Walton Goggins as The Ghoul, Moises Arias as Norm, Johnny Pemberton as Thaddeus and Kyle MacLachlan as Overseer Hank.

What’s The Story?

The show will follow Lucy, a vault dweller in Los Angeles who leaves to the surface for the first time on a rescue mission and finds herself caught up in the dangers of the wasteland along with a growing crew of eccentric post-apocalyptic personalities.

Prime Video’s official description reads, “Based on one of the greatest video game series of all time, Fallout is the story of haves and have-nots in a world in which there’s almost nothing left to have.

“200 years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind — and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird and highly violent universe waiting for them.”
