Ever since the trademark filing for Soulcalibur: Lost Swords was spotted a fair while ago, there has been much speculation among the community what it could be. Well it has now been revealed to be Soulcalibur 2 HD Online. Well, the name says it all. Check out the trailer!

A scan from the latest issue of Famitsu reveals that it is in active development for the PS3. However at the end of the trailer you will notice that the Xbox Live logo makes an appearance as well. So is it safe to assume it’s going to be on XBLA?
Honestly, I was expecting Soulcalibur: Lost Swords to be some sort of Vita installment of the franchise, but hey. A HD and online update to Soulcal 2 is pretty exciting as well. It’s worth noting, that Link or Spawn doesn’t make an appearance in the trailer. Spawn has been confirmed to be making it into the cut but no news on Link. Keep your fingers crossed folks! Soulcalibur 2 HD Online will be making it’s way before the end of 2013, but not exact release date has been given.
