It Looks Like Tekken 6 And Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny Could Be Coming To PlayStation Plus Deluxe

Thanks, Taiwan Ratings Board.

Spotted by the folks over at Gematsu, it looks like the Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee has once again spilled some T and let slip a couple of potential new additions to the PlayStation Plus catalogue of classic games.

Both Tekken 6 and Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny have received new ratings for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 which, given these are new ratings and the latter was a PSP exclusive while the former had a PSP version, would seemingly indicate that both are new PlayStation Portable games being added to the library available to players on the higher, PlayStation Plus Deluxe (or Premium in other regions) tiers.

Of course this isn’t a direct confirmation of anything at all, and if these titles are indeed slated for a PlayStation Plus showing there’s also zero indication of when that might be. Both are fighting titles, which may or may not account for anything.

Tekken 6 originally launched in arcades in 2007 and then arrived on console for PS3, PSP and Xbox 360 in 2009. Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny was a PSP exclusive that also released in 2009 and lifted features from the then-still-new Soulcalibur IV. It also brought the iconic Kratos from the God of War series into the roster.

Looking toward the more immediate future, the next drop of PlayStation Plus Extra and PlayStation Plus Deluxe games arrives tonight, bringing with it the brand-new Moving Out 2 as well as a smorgasbord of other great titles and not one, not two, but three PSP classics.
