Developers of Murdered: Soul Suspect Officially Close

Airtight Games, developers of such classics like Dark Void, Quantum Conundrum and the newly released Murdered: Soul Suspect have officially shut down due to, well, nobody knows. But lackluster sales and critical disappointment of their latest game sure would not have helped.

Airtight executive Jim Deal told IGN *shudders*  of the layoffs in April that the move was part of a “necessary restructuring.” He added at the time, “This restructuring is part of the normal ebb and flow of game production. Existing projects are on schedule and Airtight Games is actively seeking partners for exciting upcoming projects.”

All that remains at the headquarters based in Redmond is a solitary desk filled with whatever E3 awards they managed to garner throughout their 10 year run.

Rest in peace Airtight, a real shame in all honesty, that nobody bothered to pick up Murdered.

eBay anyone?
