Mojang has officially announced that the larger-than-world game Minecraft will be coming to Nintendo’s Wii U platform on December 17th. 4J, the company behind the Xbox 360 version of the game has been developing the port for the Nintendo’s console.

The game will be available exclusive through the Nintendo E-Shop and will also feature Off-TV Play, which will allow players to play the complete game on the Wii U’s gamepad. Along with the six bundled DLC packs, 16 additional pieces of downloadable content will be available within the E-Shop as well.
Minecraft for Wii U will be available starting December 17th.
