In the UK, first week sales of The Last Guardian were better than first week of sales of ICO and Shadow of the Colossus. This is quite surprising especially given that Shadow of the Colossus released right near the end of the PS2 lifecycle and the PS4 was the best selling console of all time.
Surprisingly, it failed to beat Dead Rising 4. Both came in below FIFA 17, Battlefield 1, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Final Fantasy XV.
It’s incredibly interesting that both Xbox One and PS4 exclusives failed to fire in the leadup to Christmas.
