It’s been well documented that the Australian video game development industry has been severely neglected by the government over recent years. Funding had dried up and largely gone to movie and tv, and local studios are feeling the pinch.
It’s been well over a year since the Department of Communications and the Arts has received the report on the future of Australia’s video game development industry and there’s still been no resolution on the future of the Australian gaming industry.
