Following the announcement that Dark Souls Remastered will be coming to Nintendo Switch, publisher Namco Bandai have confirmed that the game will also be releasing on Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC via Steam at the same time as the Switch version.
For those on PlayStation 4 Pro or Xbox One X, Dark Souls Remastered will feature 4K upscaling to give players a much higher resolution image. The remaster will also run at 60fps. Considering the original game ran at 720p and half the framerate, this is a pretty nice upgrade.
The PC version will feature native 4K visuals as well if you’ve got a rig hearty enough to run it.
All renditions of Dark Souls Remastered will also support six players for the multiplayer functionality instead of the original game’s four players, which is a great improvement too.
