UPDATE: At this stage, only stores in QLD, WA, ACT and NT are turning trades and console repairs back on. Those in VIC/NSW and other states will have to wait until further notice.
After suspending game trades, console repairs and cash payments two months ago, EB Games will now resume two of these things on Monday.
After surveying staff, EB Games will reintroduce both game trades and the Reboot Console Repair program on Monday. It is believed that majority of staff around the country felt safe resuming these two services. EB Games will still refuse cash payments until further notice.
Government mandated social distancing practices within stores will remain. Obviously, we’d urge any gamer to still only head to the shops if necessary.
