You’re Going To Need A Monster PC To Run Cyberpunk 2077 At 4K With RTX

Earlier this week, we got a good look at Cyberpunk 2077 running on both Xbox One X and Xbox Series X. In the days since, we’ve seen new footage that shows their open-world game running on high-end PCs which, of course, means there’s plenty of ray tracing.

The video, released by Nvidia, goes to great lengths in showing how gorgeous the game looks with technologies like RTX and DLSS on and how they work together in creating a more immersive play space.

Along with this new footage, CD Projekt Red has also provided updated system requirements that greatly details just how monstrous a rig you’re going to need to get the most out of Cyberpunk 2077.

Although it’s a low bar for entry, to play it at its absolute best with all of the bells and whistles is going to take a pretty beefy machine. Those with an RTX 2080 Ti or RTX 3070 can expect full ray tracing and DLSS in 1440p, while an RTX 3080 is the very least you’ll need to get the same results in 4K.

It’s worth mentioning that, although we’ve got the above outline of system requirements, we’re none the wiser when it comes to what frame rates are targeted.

Cyberpunk 2077 releases on December 10 fo PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
