Goldeneye 007

The Goldeneye 007 Remaster File Has Now Leaked Online And Is Fully Playable

It was only a matter of time, but the Goldeneye 007 remaster that was shown in full online earlier this week has now leaked online.

We won’t be posting the link here, but we have confirmed that it works, with both the single player and multiplayer portions of the Xbox 360 remaster being playable. You’re able to switch between the new graphics and old graphics on the fly (which makes a huge difference) and the game runs at a buttery smooth 60FPS.

It’s unclear why the game never made it to shelves, especially when it’s in such a complete state, and it’s unlikely that we’ll see it back anytime soon, although maybe this will open the eyes of the license holders.

Eurogamer has also confirmed its validity, sharing a screenshot from the start of the game which reads: Do you expect me to remove this Nintendo logo screen? No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die.

We’ll keep you posted if anything else comes from this.
