UPDATE: This is now live on both platforms. If you’re a Nintendo Switch owner, you’ll need the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pass.
Those that are on Xbox can grab it HERE if you’re on Xbox Game Pass or if you own Rare Replay you can access it there too.
It was formally announced back in September 2022, but the Nintendo 64 classic GoldenEye 007 is finally hitting Xbox and Switch consoles this week.
Releasing on January 27th, the classic game will be hitting the Switch as a N64 classic for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pass subscribers, complete with online capabilities on top of split-screen multiplayer.
The Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One version on the other hand won’t have online play, but it will have a 16:9/4K resolution, a smoother framerate, dual analogue support, and achievements. Those that own Rare Replay will also be able to play the game as part of the package, and it’ll also be included with Xbox Game Pass.
