It’s been long rumoured, but today Netflix, 2K and Take-Two Interactive has announced that they are partnering to create a live-action film adaption of Bioshock.
There weren’t a lot of details outside of that revealed, but Variety has reported that there is no release date or director yet, suggesting that this is still years away. I’d suggest it’s probably going to release somewhere near the new Bioshock game.
Given the art that Netflix posted featured a Big Daddy and a Little Sister, it’s pretty safe to say that the movie will be set in Rapture, although the website says that it’s a take on the entire franchise, so maybe we’ll visit Columbia too.
