Genshin Impact’s developers HoYoverse/miHoYo have begun teasing a new video game project titled Zenless Zone Zero, starting with a mysterious countdown website.
The website features a retro-looking room complete with digital clock, analogue TV and a calendar marking down the days until May 13, 2022, at which point we assume more will be revealed. The TV on the web page is also interactive, playing teaser images when users mess around with the dials on its front.
Those keeping score will probably recall that the developer announced the opening of a new office in Montréal late last year (thanks Eurogamer), which was reportedly focused on developing a “brand-new AAA open-world action-adventure game featuring shooting-based gameplay within a living, breathing paranormal world,” which could be what we’ll see this week with Zenless Zone Zero.
