Last week, we posted about some God of War Ragnarok screenshots being posted early, which were very clearly accidentally leaked from what seemed like a reviewer’s private screenshot account, but the situation has gotten much worse over the weekend with at least one retailer in the US selling the game to customers two weeks ahead of launch.
It is thought that the store that sold the game as a US Target store and this has quickly evolved into a situation where a huge number of videos and screenshots are appearing all over the internet with much bigger spoilers than what presented last week.
THE CHEAPEST PRE-ORDER COPY: $98 FOR PS5 AND $79 FOR PS4 AT AMAZON WITH FREE SHIPPING.
Director of the 2018 game and Producer of Ragnarok, Cory Barlog has taken to Twitter to talk about how disappointing it is that the game is leaking almost two weeks early, with fans now havin to risk being spoiled about key gameplay/plot points.
“You know, right now, I can really understand the benefit of having just an installer on the physical disc” Barlog said.

“A retailer selling the game nearly two weeks before release. Just so disappointing” continued Barlog.
