Update: Today’s the day with PAX Australia Early Bird badges going on sale for this year’s show.
The event’s Twitter page has called out that badge purchases will utilise an online queuing system and work on a first-come-first-serve basis, so if you’re hoping to get in early and secure your tickets for October then you’ll want to make sure you’re around when they go on sale at 12PM AEDT.
Early Bird badges will cost $175 for a full weekend badge (Friday October 6th – Sunday October 8th entry), or $70 for a single day badge. Weekend badges will reportedly be in limited supply for early bird purchases.
Tickets will go on sale over on the PAX Australia website, where you can also sign up for future updates, join the dedicated Discord community and see all of the latest info on this year’s expo.

Last year’s event was a packed weekend full of gamers excited to be back at a big convention, so it’ll be interesting to see how PAX really brings the goods this year. We had Shuhei Yoshida himself as a keynote speaker for 2022, and the Press Start team got up to our usual shenanigans with the Press Start What The Wiki? Extravaganza.
Ticket prices as well as exhibitor and schedule info are all still up in the air, but we’ll be sure to report back when these are confirmed.
