BAM 2023 Is Bringing World Tour Fighting Game Events To Melbourne Next Week

BAM!

BAM (Battle Arena Melbourne) is back for 2023, bringing the fighting game community together in Melbourne for a huge eSports event and the national fighting game championship.

After last year’s BAM saw a huge 1,000 players attend, the 2023 iteration promises to be even better with the return of world tour events as well as the debut of Street Fighter 6. Event organisers have said that they’ve already had more players register to compete in Street Fighter 6 than the previous series entry had at any point in its era. The event will also have a dedicated Street Fighter 6 experience zone for new players and spectators to get familiar with the game.

The Tekken World Tour will make its return to Australia as part of BAM 2023, showcasing world-class players vying for points on the Tekken World Tour leaderboard and competing for a $5,000 cash prize. The Arc World Tour is also coming, making its Australian debut with a Guilty Gear Strive qualifier that will result in the winner being selected for the Arc World Tour event in Los Angeles.
