A Portal To Hell Is Opening In Sydney To Celebrate The Launch Of Diablo IV

I'll bet the cost of living is lower there.

Sydney-siders are being subjected to an even greater evil than just criminal rents, as a wicked Diablo IV campaign has descended on the city.

Taking residence over Mary’s Underground in Circular Quay, Activision Blizzard is opening a portal to Hell and putting on ritualistic displays to promote today’s launch of Diablo IV.

Throughout the day, tonight and tomorrow, red-robed cultists and even Mother herself, Lilith, can be spotted hanging around key Sydney locations like Town Hall, and roaming their way to Newtown to perform rituals in front of the huge Diablo mural at Mary’s Newtown. Then at night, a red beacon is set to light up the night sky to lead the public to the portal, with a Hell’s choir, demonic rituals and fire-y displays set to turn the town upside-down. Lilith will also be roaming the streets recruiting followers to join in on the Hellish proceedings.

Sydney folks keen to see the Hells Portal open can head down to Mary’s Underground for 5pm today June 6th and tomorrow June 7th. Mary’s Underground will also be serving up Diablo IV Hellfire Burgers exclusively from today until June 11th and they look devilishly good:

Diablo IV is out now on PC and consoles and it’s excellent. We gave the game a stellar 9/10 in our review, saying “Diablo IV is an unquestionable win for Blizzard and one of their foundational franchises when it needed it most. An unrelenting commitment to vision, redefined Sanctuary, never-ending player progression, and excellent boss fights are just a few of the reasons Diablo IV isn’t held back by uneven pacing and recycled content.”
