Summer Game Fest 2024 Has Already Been Confirmed

Wouldn't have expected otherwise, but it's nice to know!

As our very own James would say, the corpse hasn’t even gone cold yet for this year’s Summer Game Fest, but the bloke himself Geoff Keighley has already confirmed that the event will return in June 2024.

Summer Game Fest for 2024 will once again include a live showcase hosted by Keighley, along with a Summer Game Fest Play Days experience in partnership with iam8bit that’ll give press and influencers in LA the chance to go hands-on with many of the games that’ll feature.

Geoff-y Boy also revealed that this year’s event was a record-setter, though it wasn’t clarified in what way. Was it the biggest streaming audience? The most trailer views on YouTube? The most days since an on-stage incident at a Geoff Keighley-hosted event? We may never know. We’ll probably know, soon.

This year’s Summer Game Fest live showcase gave us some exciting reveals and new looks, including Alan Wake II and Mortal Kombat 1 gameplay, a release date for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, the reveal of Sonic Superstars, a new Final Fantasy VII Rebirth trailer and heaps more.
