It’s Gamescom time again, which means that not only are folks over in Cologne, Germany about to attend one of the world’s biggest and most exciting gaming events but those playing along at home are being treated to a new line-up of showcases packed with game announcements, updates and new trailers.
While the Gamescom schedule isn’t as packed with livestreamed showcases as something like Summer Game Fest, there are still a few to look forward to – led by Geoff Keighley’s big Opening Night Live showcase. While the big GK has already stressed that this year’s show will focus less on new game announcements, it’s still sure to be worth watching, provided you can stomach the early wake-up.
