Tales Of The Shire Is A New Cosy Lord Of The Rings Game From Weta Workshop

In celebration of Friday, September 22nd being Hobbit Day, Private Division and Weta Workshop have announced Tales of the Shire, a new “cosy” game set in the world of The Lord of the Rings.

Actual details are thin on the ground at this stage, save for a short teaser video that divulges very little about the game itself, but the game is set to be fully unveiled next year, with the game inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien’s universe also due to release at some stage in 2024 for consoles and PC.

We actually first heard tell of this game last year, when Private Division and Weta announced they were working on something in the universe.
